G ATHERING FOR WORSHIP PRELUDE

WELCOME

Ave Maria Franz Schubert (1797 – 1828) Ashley Dalton, Flute Chuck Andreatta

BECOMING CENTERED We are all meant to be mothers of God—for God is always needing to be born. What good is it to me for the Creator to give birth to God’s Child if I do not also give birth to the Child in my time and my place? This, then, is the fullness of time: when Christ is begotten in me. —Meister Eckhart, 14th century German theologian CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP
