How Lovely, Lord, How Lovely MERLE’S TUNE
CALL TO WORSHIP
Myra Houser
Isaiah envisioned the creation of a new heaven and a new earth; A vision of a world where weeping and distress are washed away; A vision of a world where all enjoy long life and unlimited opportunity; A vision of a world of fruitful vineyards and plentiful harvests; A vision of a world where all are housed and receive care; A vision of a world where labor is justly rewarded; A vision of a world where the wolf and the lamb dwell together in peace; A vision of a world filled with joy, creativity, and possibility. God of Isaiah, move us from dreaming the visions of the past to living into Your reality for the future; teach us hope and endurance as we live out our calling as a community of faith. INVOCATION

AND HEAR THE ANGELS SING: ADVENT 2013 "You keep us waiting. You, the God of all time, want us to wait. For the right time in which to discover who we are, where we are to go, who will be with us, and what we must do.
