The True Beauty of Sharing Your Faith

The True Beauty of Sharing your Faith “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” (James 1:6) You can only see the true beauty of your faith when you completely believe in God, without fears, doubts and hesitations. You must love God first above all. As Christians, it is our primary mission to spread the word of God and expect challenges on the way. You’ll encounter such challenges in your workplace as well. No matter how much you love your job, you can’t instances where life is being pulled right out of you. Maybe because one of your coworkers frustrates you or you got embarrassed because your boss yelled at you of a small mistake. You can easily overcome such obstacles, but working in a non-Christian workplace is another huge wave.

Yet never forget - every day is a miracle, you just have to have faith. When you feel like no one switches on the light when you entered the dark room, trust in Him because He might not light your path but He will surely walk with you. In sharing your faith, here are three obstacles you commonly encounter at work and how you’ll overcome them: 1. You are prohibited to share your faith at work, according to the law. It is very hard to hold yourself back from telling other people about Jesus especially to lost ones. You badly want to help them find rest in the Lord, but you can’t because it is against the state law. Always reflect God in your actions and be an employee who holds creativity, optimism, kindness, and purpose in every action. That way, they’ll see Jesus right through your heart. As stated in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 2. You feel inferior in your faith at work. It surely makes you anxious to talk about your faith in Jesus when you know that you’re the only Christian in your workplace. Open your eyes because that isolation might be a way of God telling you to grow your faith. Being alone will strengthen your faith because you’ll rely more on the Holy Spirit. Remember in Isaiah 55:9, Jesus declares, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” 3. Your co-workers always decline your invitation to go to church. For Christians, it is not new at all to receive rejections when they invite people to go to church, but this is how you see the beauty of your faith. You don’t have to convince them, just let your co-workers see your sincere faith and begin with great stories about faith. Jesus is not pressuring you, so take it slowly. Build a connection with your coworkers, invest time and effort. Have faith in your co-workers just as the faith you have in Jesus. Your workplace is one of the greatest place for discipleship. Yes, the challenges are no joke yet the best way to overcome it, is to accept it. Besides, sweet success is achieved through hard work. Be confident in your faith because God is not turning a blind eye for His people. Grow your faith and spiritual life here at Calvary Road Baptist Church. We are one family in Christ.
