SMARTPHONE VIDEO STORYTELLING WORKSHOP: NON-PROFIT & BUSINESS STORYTELLING Bob Glover | Emmy Winning Producer, Executive Coach Does your business, nonprofit, or club need a video? A good story engages volunteers and compels donors to support your organization. But where do those stories hide? How can you find them? How do you tell them e‹ectively? Learn how to use your smartphone to tell your organiza tion’s or business’s story. There are two parts to the workshop. Each is 3.5 hours long presented on consecutive Sundays. During the first day of the workshop you will learn how to capture the best video and audio your smartphone can deliver. Your instructor will help you identify your story and give you storytelling tips that will elevate your narrative. By the end of the session you will identify the story that you want to create. No rest for the weary! During the time between classes you will capture the video and audio you need to tell that story. The second day is where the rubber meets the road. You’ll learn how to edit your story. If you do the work, by the end of the second day you will have created an engaging story for your program. COURSE CODE: VIDN Sec. 01: 2 Saturdays, 9:30am-12:30pm. Beginning jewelry making students will learn the fundam techniques for designing and fabricating a sterling silv textured band ring. Students will learn how to texture, fi form, solder, sand, and polish the ring. All materials will be provid including sterling silver, copper (for practicing techniques), saw blades, solder, and sandpaper. A materials fee of $40 is payable to the instructor on the day of the class.
