Tim Harper teaches history at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge. His research interests include modern Southeast Asian history and world history.

Sunil Amrith is a historian of modern South Asia at Birkbeck College, University of London. His research is on the trans-regional movement of people, ideas, and institutions.
