r One of my favorite photographers is Mark Adamus. More great photographers who inspire me are Zack Arias, Joel Grimes and Joe McNally. I am currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia as a freelance photographer.

I studied the character of the morning sun, afternoon and evening. Doing a lot of exploration I finally found the beauty of the morning sun. With the simple equipment we still have the potential to get good pictures.

My first digital camera was Canon EOS 300D Silver. With this camera I did lots of experiments. With limited options of my equipment I found the sun as most available light to do more experiments.

Rural village’s life in peace is one of my favorite theme pictures.

I began photography in 2005 and studied photography with a film camera, using darkroom for black and white photos.

Over the years, photography fun turned into a passion, makeshift experiments into a more conscious use of light and image. Studies at the Academy gave me the knowledge of composition, image and made me more sensitive to art. But it is my job that I consider the most essential element of my development. I photograph mostly people - I find great source of inspiration in their facial expressions, gestures, poses. Recently I began to recognize the world through the macro lens. It is an interesting topic that drew me more than I could have expected.

Today photography fills my time, it is the work that does not tire me at all. I try to be sensitive to the image, looking for beauty and THE ONE scene, among hundreds of images that I pass by every day. When I watch the just taken pictures and I see the potential latent in them, I feel satisfaction that cannot be compared to anything else.

po lan

I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. At first, with my dad’s old zenith. I used to organize „fashion” sessions by inviting friends to pose. We chose clothes, we did make-up. I felt like a fashion photographer, and they were like top models.

r This motto turned my life upside down about 5 years ago. It’s probably why photography became my passion and still fills my every free moment. The camera became my friend, which on one hand forces me to kneel on my knees in the wet grass, but instead helps me filter picture of the world and extract only what is beautiful and valuable.

It is the nature perhaps, my favorite model, which itself creates a vivid and magical images. While it only requires patience and a good light. Anyway, like everything else - even a simple clip for hanging laundry, radishes or pins can create a perfect composition if you just look carefully at texture and shape. And that’s what I try to convey in my photographs - my own, intimate look at reality.

po

It requires me to focus and humility, but in return allows me to keep these beautiful images for longer. The same are also my photos - often done on the knees, give fleeting beauty of nature, which allows you to look at itself in this way only once, briefly.

r Genesis P-Orridge, said: We’re in this strange point in history where nothing is real in some way. It all begins to resemble a Buddhist form of interpretation of the world that everything is an illusion. So now I see and I present my world of photography.

d

All, „what is really and what just really looks like.” In my work I would describe myself as looking and inquiring, encountering along the way enormity of questions and answers, that nothing is true, everything is permitted. I play not creating images of reality, but bend the language, the code we use, which we met over the centuries of culture and art. Bearing in mind that the two readings of work read by one recipient will not be the same. Each work has a potentially infinite number of interpretations, meanings.

po

d

Going back with memory I can say that the passion for photography has always existed. Recently, my youngest brother, reminded me of the days when as a boy I did not move anywhere without a camera. This is true, except that for years it was unconscious. The breakthrough came 10 years ago, when I started work as computer graphic. During my work I realized that I should take up photography seriously. Every beginning photographer can imagine the difficult, awkward beginnings, and the permanent search for his own artistic path. After a while I noticed that my work began to crystallize: the image I created more consciously - have drawn heavily on what interested me most, observing and admiring the greatest masters of photography. I constantly moved around on

many levels: literature, painting, film, theater, alternative music. All of this provided me with creative inspiration. Inspiration is stuck in all that focuses on the man and his inner world.

r Photography allows me to explore tidier versions of the world we live in. Reality is often very chaotic, not because the individual moving parts are complex, but because there are so many of them and they evolve and interact constantly. Photography provides a tool to isolate a specific instant in time and focus on a particular component of reality. My images attempt to engage the viewer’s imagination by letting a stylized view of reality hint the complexity of the real world.

Once I have identified a suitable location for a people shoot or a suitable element of a structure, I focus on arranging the picture elements in a way that suggests a larger reality than what is actually shown. In my photographs of people this is often an implied activity, occasion, or event. For my architectural work, the viewer is encouraged to imagine the rest of the building, the setting and purpose of the structure, or perhaps the function of the section shown. Thank you for your interest!

r Since the beginning of my photography fueled an idea - an endless fascination with femininity.

Everything we do, after all, what comes out of our hands, tells about our character. That is why photography is primarily my personal, emotional exhibitionism - therapy self-confidence. Effective, addictive.

po

Contrary to appearances, an extremely difficult subject. Why? A woman is a creature composed of the same contradictions. I want to show the woman’s strong internally, but also sensitive, even fragile at times. Photographing women with all their desires, etherealness and temperament, but most of all I want to emphasize something that the women are beautiful, what does each of us - the natural sensualism. If to harness all that sort of slightly irrational „aesthetics of dream”, emerges a picture of a woman, which I wear in my head.

I’m at the beginning of this road. Still looking, I make mistakes and absorb inspiration. Photography is a way to close in the image part of my personality. Every picture that the mind of a photographer puts out which later „is made” by his limited skills, is passed by his own SENSITIVITY and it determines of the image.

Many roads one passion Krystian Markiewicz Here comes the magic, here style is shaped, the works produced here - Artistic Photography Workshop “Many roads - one passion” Photographing the world and people is sometimes a form of greedy attempt to save them from passing. Pictures are a type of memory backup that will outlast even ourselves. Maybe that is why when we are taking photos, we often grow magic, implore reality, steal moments, steal emotions - and because of this procedure a place of our workshop, which became a meeting place for creative people, was called (the pseudonym of the organizers of the thief - Marcelina Oczkowski) Thieftown (Złodziejewo) . Because we steal and steal, but we do it in good faith, what is “ours” we give back in kindness. The idea of creating a workshop in Thieftown (Złodziejewie), we wanted to do something unique: combining the magic of places and locations with a rich history and tradition, and giving you the opportunity to learn the secrets of extremely different creators work, we hope to arise in your hearts and minds, the awareness, that everyone sees different, so with that uniqueness of Originality is a symptom of learning yourself, and skill of insight into the creative process of yourself, which, even though deeply hidden, is in us all. We want to give you an invaluable opportunity to choose your own routes, its development and direction. The knowledge that we want to give you should be a team of guidance for emerging talent, through which the Exploration path of Self in Photography will be richer, and the discovery

of Self in the Art , the most beautiful adventure of life. Photography has become for many a privilege to be different. Photography triggers ability that lacks direction and path. Tucks into the unit trust, freedom of opening mind as open windows in humid spring day. Looking has become space and air, but not in order to kidnap, to appropriate, digest and spit out. It becomes a ritual of taking what aesthetic and “anyone’s” for their own use, by the beautiful exception, “Royal Loan” building beauty in its own crooked world of transparent bricks surrounding the identity and characteristics of people. With this idea the concept originated for the Workshop on Złodziejewie. “Złodziejewo” is more than a dozen people who devote themselves to search and interpret the world around them in the context of their own creations, representing different styles, mental strength, potential and artistic personalities, and above all so different relationships with people and objects of their interest... This “commune” is a conglomeration of many talented and creative people in a systematic form for weekend or weekly lectures and practical desire to share knowledge, skills, ways of harnessing the reality on the noble purpose of visual art. And all because of Marcelina Oczkowski - lady, living in two hundred years old palace in the heart of Pałuki... It is through her motivation and hard work, Zalesie Jasminum Palace is not only the homestead, but also became a refuge and the cradle of creative minds, an informal university for every new adepts of photography, both amateur and looking for a starting point of knowledge, but also people experienced in need of inspiration, fulfillment and development. The phenomenon referred to is another proof that art and the creative process inherent coexist between people, has its origin in this particular interaction, and with positive thoughts and consistent circumstances, are emerging as an adventure and a real spiritual experience ... Thief(Złodziejka) managed to invite to lead the

way of this adventure, interesting and the most talented photographers in the country - the place is formed by a visionary, magician, scholar and creator of Arcadius Mauritz, talented and creative graphic designer Karol Kalinowski, who specializes in photo editing, Artur Frankowski our professional support , a graduate of Photography at the Academy in Poznan, talented and titled (eg, this year’s first prize in the Viva) Veroniq Zafon; specialist emotions and movements Gębarowska Catherine, a graduate of Photography at PWSTFiT; outstanding astrophotographer Marek Nikodem, thinker, mentor, a master act, sculptor in light Andrzej Fetish Frankowski; as capable as Gregor Laubsch, famous avant-garde Catherine Kołomańska, Keita - creative medium, researcher, trainer, and a time machine, Marcelina Oczkowska emotions thief, as well as an unusual models - beautiful, intelligent, professional, sensual.

However, the shortness of this rare ability to build an emotional interaction with each body and spirit of this world, perception of symmetry where the chaos begins, stacking order from the new energy pulses according glare, perversely allows for freedom; quiet acquiescence to their own demons. Where a person creates a new level, where looking for an outlet for their emotions, begins with magic, adventure and love. And these feelings like nothing else live in a whispered spell, that nothing is more beautiful than being a man. This assumption, therefore, is the golden rule, which carries the energy that seems to hide in every smallest corner of the palace and park, and transform this space into a powerful incubator in which the ubiquitous idea of c ombining art and photography and the human element, spreads over the place like a giant bubble, with which grief and malice of the world are not allowed...

Our prosperity in the world of photography and the subsequent numbers of people to join Złodziejewa demonstrates the need and necessity of the existence of such sites, because photography, as one of the many forms of expression in today’s world, brings together countless communities around them, brings closer and links, but also often divides. Her profound influence on our perception of reality and ubiquity of the visual has become something natural, and thus to some extent also negligible... Creative space will seem somewhat abstract concept and unnecessary for many of us, comes from the conglomerate of mind and heart, giving reason to exist, not only physically. Metaphysics borders on magic, witchcraft and the confusion of the senses, for which in former times entitled to death. Today, however, closes the above differences, which in principle is nothing else but a higher sensitivity, the concept of originality and extravagance. In a sense it is a disparagement.

The shortest speech in the history of the Nobel Prize was made by William Faulkner who found that since the beginning of the world we are still telling the same story. Few things change, as costumes, scenery and the world around us. Knowledge of ourselves does not change. We at Złodziejewie are similair in opinion: we know that fashion fades, but style remains, we realize that mores change , but the man continues to tear the same feelings and passions, as for centuries. So we strive to create timeless images from which beat emotions, we want the person on photograph to be the Person, not just a model. Welcome to all of us connoisseurs, lovers of photography who are not afraid of magic, they are ready to journey into yourself and to meet other people. We will take pictures, watch them, talk by the warm fire, think, err, but we believe that together we will find the Way of Photography Fullfilment. r Certainly photography, is an important part of my life. I also know that my passion will always accompany me everywhere, when it will be possible. With camera in hand, I often wander in Bialystok and its surroundings, immortalizing the unique landscapes of Podlasie. The effects can be seen on my website.

Love for photography began about 15 years ago. Today, it is for me much more than work. Taking photos, I try to capture fleeting moments, stop a unique split-second on the paper. When they ask me why I became a photographer, I can not answer.

Once I said that I just do not know how to paint, but always wanted to capture the beauty of nature, the form of still life, weirdness works of human hands and uniqueness of the photograph itself, and here is the perfect solution.
