"I WANT TO WISH ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS A LOT OF GOOD LIGHT "

THE STYLE CALLED “POSTCARD VIEW” His passion for 25 years is photography, once analogue but with such a dedication of giving the negative to the photographer, where the the decision of frame selection and the time of day, the photographer had little to say. Only digital photography caught up with Jan, those who know him, know that he takes every outdoor project, answers to every photographic invitation. Jan considers photography as adventure, in addition to photography itself, contact with nature, meeting people and interesting places is very important. For each photographer, developing photographic style takes some time as he creates a specific way of seeing the world. Jan's style is showing places rather conservative way, he calls it the "Postcard View". He is aware of what is currently fashionable in photography, but doesn't accept everything and doesn't agree with everything. Photographs what he feels with soul, which usually is the domain of the ladies, but Jan has similar feelings. Jan does not want to sound schematic, but he thinks that 75% of the success of the photos is framing and light, post processing should only extract the beauty contained in the frame. Recently a color also plays a big role in Jan's photography, and in his opinion it's is a very important aspect of photography.

BEST SOLUTION FOR INDEPENDENT PHOTOGRAPHERS The Camerapixo Press ID Card proved to be the perfect solution for me. For 2 years now I am the holder of the card and for 2 years I was on the first line of fire. Camerapixo Press ID Card is not just a pretty piece of plastic as some believe. This is also a sense of belonging to the group of outstanding photographers from around the world, such as Magnus Persson (Sweden), Antonio Perrone (Italy), Christian Kleiman (New Zeland), Charles Winslow (USA), and many other great photographers. It is also the possibility of additional assistance and great support from the editors of Camerapixo Photography Magazine in dealing with the press offices.

Camerapixo Press Card gives me confidence in crisis situations, such as demonstrations and riots, where I often have to deal with the police and a hostile crowd of people. Knowing that I'm not an anonymous photographer but member of the Camerapixo gives me motivation to work better and with continuous improvement. It is also a commitment to follow the photojournalist Code of Ethics. And this way, thanks to Camerapixo Press Card I began to act like a pro, and I am also treated this way, while remaining independent photojournalist. This Press Card is a proven tool. The perfect complement is also the ability to publish the photoreportage in Camerapixo photography magazine as well as on their website.
© ALESSIO TREROTOLI “RAINDROP BLUES”
RAINDROP BLUES “THE RAIN WASHES MEMORIES OFF THE SIDEWALK OF LIFE”, Woody Allen said in an old movie. Raindrops, like in a blues song, fall with a repetitive but fascinating rhythm, awakening, as they were called in XVII century, the “blue demons”: a suffused sensation of melancholia. RAINDROP BLUES PROJECT tries to dip the viewer in a sort of oneiric reality, where the rain seems to fall on everyone, creating evocative images where every element – the street, the sky, the characters, the viewer - is involved in a romantic and, in the same time, melancholic feeling. As Bob Marley said, when it rains some “feel” the rain, others just get wet.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT “I came across these striking faces in the street maze of Varanasi. Being a holy city, it has a very unique atmosphere and you see, everywhere, Sadhus - those aesthetes who, for the sake of “the enlightenment”, chose to live apart from society. Eyes are the windows of the soul and these expressive looks take on another dimension in these men who renounce everything to focus on spirituality.”
