CHRISTMAS I like Christmas because my family and I like to tell Christmas jokes and drink egg nog. We leave cookies for the reindeer! We like to sleep in on Christmas also!

I think Christmas is about happiness, laughter, sharing and kindness! Christmas is also about respect for others like thanking for the presents after they give them to you. And of course being nice to others!

On Christmas love spreads through the air! Like thanking for what you have, giving to others and sharing! I wonder what other people think of Christmas maybe they have the same thoughts as me!

By Tory Grade 4 EDM CHRISTMAS Christmas is a special time of year for family. My family gets to go to Mexico and spend time with my grandpa.

Christmas starts early for us because we go to my Baba's (grandma's) house for Christmas dinner and PRESENTS! Even though we spend Christmas in Mexico, we still put up a Christmas tree, lights and other Christmas decorations. :) Christmas is also my favorite time of year because I love all the shortbread cookies that we get to make and EAT! I also adore the chocolates and other goodies Christmas brings to us!

CHRISTMAS I think that it is good to give at Christmas. I give thing to people because it's nice.

My family leaves out beer and chips for Santa and we leave out carrots.

My family and I always go out skiing around Christmas. Sometimes at Christmas we go over to our grand-parents houses. My sister and I normally wake up early on Christmas.

My sister and I normally share our presents, so if I got a board game I would let me sister play it. If my sister got a 1000 piece puzzle my family would do it together.

Christmas Letters to the Mirror • Submitted by Elaine Thompson‛s Grade 2/3 French Immersion class at EDM • Subject of all stories: C‛est Noël Chez Nous Avant Noël je fais des biscuits de Noël. Je chante des chants de Noël. J‛ai une couronne sur ma porte. Je mets un ange sur mon sapin de Noël et je porte une cloche sur mon manteau. La veille de Noël je mets des cadeaux sous le sapin de Noël. Le jour de Noël on mange un souper spécial.

Natalie Pielou - 2ème année Avant Noël, ma grand-mère et mon grand-père viennent à ma maison. Ma famille fait une maison de pain d‛épice. On décore un sapin de Noël mais on ne met pas de couronne sur la porte. La veille de Noël ma famille laisse une collation pour le Père Noël. Le jour de Noël on ouvre les cadeaux après le déjeuner. C‛est comme “le dessert”.

Alex Badzio-George - 2ème année Avant Noël je mets les lumières sur la maison. Je mets mon bas de Noël sur la cheminée. Je fais des cartes de Noël et je regarde un film de Noël. La veille de Noël je mets des biscuits sur la table pour le Père Noël. Le jour de Noël je donne des cadeaux à ma maman et mon papa. Je porte un chapeau du Père Noël.

Sydney Percevault 2ème année Avant Noël, moi et ma grand-mère, on décore le sapin avec des glaçons, des lumières, des cloches, des cannes en bonbon, des boules de Noël et un ange en haut du sapin de Noël. Puis toute ma famille met leur bas de Noël sous le sapin de Noël. La veille de Noël on laisse des biscuits pour le Père Noël. Mon cousin, ma cousine, leur bébé et moi, on se couche. Le jour de Noël je me lève et je vais voir les cadeaux. Puis je vais réveiller toute ma famille et on ouvre les cadeaux.

Ella Gallant - 3ème année Avant Noël on fait des biscuits et on fait une maison de pain d‛épice. Ma maman fait une couronne pour la porte. Avant Noël on met des lumières sur la maison et on décore un sapin de Noël. La veille de Noël on laisse des biscuits de Noël pour le Père Noël. Le matin de Noël, je saute sur le lit de ma maman avec mon bas de Noël.

Lindsay Eidsvik - 2ème année Avant Noël on met des lumières sur ma maison. On met des décorations et une étoile sur le sapin. On mange des cannes de bonbon et on décore autour de ma maison. La veille de Noël j‛ouvre un cadeau de ma maman et mon papa. Je laisse des biscuits pour le Père Noël. Le jour de Noël on ouvre les cadeaux et on regarde dans mon bas de Noël.

Sara Paradis - 2ème année Avant Noël je fais une maison de pain d‛épice et des bonhommes de pain d‛épice. Je coupe un sapin de Noël. On met des boules de Noël et des cannes de bonbon sur le sapin. Le jour de Noël on se lève et on va à côté du sapin de Noël et ma maman prend une photo. Puis on ouvre nos cadeaux.

Dominic Windsor - 3ème année Avant Noël on achète un sapin de Noël.Je mets un ange sur mon sapin. Ma maman fait des biscuits et je fais des sapins de Noël pour toute la classe. On met des lumières sur la maison . Le jour de Noël je mets ma tuque de Noël. Le Père Noël me donne des cannes en bonbon dans mon bas de Noël. On mange une dinde.

Tyza Skuse - 2ème année Avant Noël on décore notre maison et on fait un soupé. On écoute la musique de Noël. Avant Noël toute ma famille va à Maui. La veille de Noël on laisse des biscuits pour le Père Noël et des carottes pour les rennes. Le matin de Noël on ouvre nos cadeaux.

Tayler Van Hove - 2ème année Avant Noël moi et ma famille, on décore le sapin de Noël avec les lumières et en haut du sapin de Noël il y a une étoile. La veille de Noël je laisse des biscuits pour le Père Noël.

Le jour de Noël je joue des jeux avec ma soeur. On mange un souper spécial.

Aaliyah Smith - 2ème année Avant Noël notre famille prépare des biscuits et on met des lumières sur le balustrade. Notre famille décore notre maison avec des petites maisons et une crèche. Notre famille met les bas de Noël sur le plancher et on a un calendrier de Noël. Toute notre famille décore notre sapin et met nos cadeaux en-dessous. La veille de Noël je vais à la maison de ma tante Lorie. On ouvre toujours un cadeau et c‛est toujours un pyjama. Le jour de Noël je saute toujours sur le lit de ma maman et mon papa et on ouvre les cadeau x.

Bryan Kelly - 3ème année Avant Noël on met un village au bord de la fenêtre. On sort les décorations pour la maison. La veille de Noël on coupe un sapin de Noël et on met des décorations sur le sapin.

On met une étoile en haut du sapin de Noël. Le jour de Noël on ouvre les cadeaux.

Sam Borrie - 2ème année Avant Noël on fait une maison de pain d‛épice et un bonhomme de pain d‛épice. On décore le sapin de Noël avec des boules de Noël. Je fais des cartes de Noël. La veille de Noël on ouvre les cadeaux. Ma famille vient avec d‛autres cadeaux.

Noni Erickson - 2ème année Avant Noël je mets un sapin dans ma maison. Je mets des boules de Noël sur le sapin. Je mets d‛autres décorations sur le sapin. Je mets une couronne sur la porte. Je décore la maison. La veille de Noël ma maman voit le Père Noël mais je ne le vois pas. Le jour de Noël j‛ouvre mon bas de Noël et j‛ouvre mes cadeaux.

Webb Waterhouse - 3ème année Avant Noël ma famille coupe un sapin de Noël. On met des lumières sur le sapin. On fait des biscuits de Noël. Je fais des cartes de Noël et on a un calendrier de Noël. Le jour de Noël j‛ouvre mon bas de Noël et on va à Vancouver.

Anna Chatterton - 2ème année Avant Noël ma famille coupe un sapin de Noël avec les familles de Rowen et Anna. Je mets des décorations. On fait une fête de Noël. La veille de Noël on laisse des biscuits et du lait pour le Père Noël. Le matin de Noël on ouvre tous les cadeaux.

Patrick Conner - 2ème année Avant Noël je mets cinq guirlandes différentes sur le sapin. Le matin de Noël ma mère met mon bas de Noël sur mon lit. Chaque Noël je sors de mon lit à 6:00 pour voir les cadeaux. Chaque Noël je mange une canne en bonbon sur le sapin de Noël. J‛ouvre le cadeau du Père Noël en premier. Pour le souper de Noël je mange une dinde. Brenner Whitt – 2ème année Avant Noël, ma maman prépare le sapin pour Noël et on met nos bas de Noël sur l‛étagère. On met des lumières de Noël sur la porte. On décore la maison avec nos grandparents. La veille de Noël ma grand-maman met un jouet Père Noël sur ma fenêtre. Le jour de Noël moi et Alex, on court aux escaliers, et on attend nos parents. On ouvre tous nos cadeaux!

William Badzio-George – 2ème année Avant Noël chaque année je fais un spectacle de danse. Je décore mon sapin . Il est très joli. La veille de Noël on laisse des biscuits et du lait pour le Père Noël. Le matin de Noël je me reveille à 5:00. Je court au sapin. Je prend mon bas de Noël. Je regarde dedans et puis j‛ouvre un petit cadeau. Je court au lit de mes parents et je réveille ma petite soeur Brynna. Maman et papa marchent mais Brynna et moi, on court au sapin. On ouvre tous nos cadeaux et on mange des crêpes.

Maura Dybwad – 3ème année Avant Noël mon papa coupe un sapin de Noël. Mon papa met des lumières dehors sur le toit de ma maison. Ma maman fait des bonhommes de pain d‛épice et on décore le sapin.

Le matin de Noël moi et mon frère, on saute sur le lit de mon papa et ma maman avec nos bas de Noël. Mon papa et ma maman se lèvent et notre famille va au salon pour ouvrir les cadeaux et pour chanter des chants de Noël. Notre famille a un bon souper.
