The use of assessment for learning Putting students at the heart of assessment by: - Involving both teachers and students reflecting on assessment data including targets - Using plenaries and mini-plenaries to check for progress/remedy misconceptions - Providing feedback which leads to students recognising their next steps - Tracking progress and intervening where necessary - Involving students in peer & self assessment
