Greetings from Ghana! This week our very own Miss Smith has travelled to Ghana on a ‘Connecting Classrooms’ mission! As you can see she has received a warm welcome from the students at our partnership school, VRA JHS No2 in Akosombo. Miss Smith has taken project work, including pen pal letters and culture collages from our Year 7 AC Days, to share with the Ghanaian students and is working hard to help them produce exciting things to return to us.
With some of the funds we have raised at Campsmount Miss Smith has bought this plaque to commemorate the beginning of our school partnership. The staff and students at VRA JHS No2, Akosombo, Ghana were delighted to receive this gift and are really looking forward to developing our relationship in the future.
As well as visiting our partnership school and getting to know the students; Miss Smith has been fortunate enough to explore the areas where people live. She has lots of fantastic stories to share with us all when she comes home next week!
