Overview of Campaign 

Campus Circle worked on marketing the 2012 INK & IRON FESTIVAL. This report recaps our efforts including: Online Marketing through CampusCircle.com including banner ads, dedicated emailing, newsletter ads, a sweepstakes and calendar listings. Social Media - Campus Circle utilized its own social media channels to promote the event. We disseminated original content including a sweepstakes for the event through our and partner facebook and twitter accounts. Campus Circle - Print advertising and editorial for the festival appeared in our alternative paper.

Banner Advertising ď Ź

Banner advertising for the Ink-N-Iron Festival appeared on our website. The banner ads ran throughout 95% of the site. Our monthly traffic currently averages 519,000 page views and 140,000 unique visitors. The banner ad had 733,126 impressions and 347 clicks. The value of the banner ad was $7,330.00.


Dedicated Email ď Ź

Campus Circle launched a dedicated email to our 27,500+ members in Los Angeles and Orange county to promote the festival.


Online Editorial ď Ź

Campus Circle posted a preview of the event on its website. The article was used as a social media tool to promote the event. It was viewed 774 times.

Banner advertising for the festival appeared in our weekly email newsletter for 4 weeks

The Campus Circle weekly email newsletter reaches 27,500+ members per week in the greater Los Angeles area.

Calendar Listings ď Ź

Campus Circle listed the event in the calendar section of our website. The listing generated 811 page views. The value of the listing is $75.00.


Banner Tracking via Bit.ly Campus Circle’s bitly link accounted for over 50% of all Bitly related links for the festival.


Campus Circle - Print Ad 

Print Ad Campaign – A ½ page 4 color ad for event appeared in 3 issues of Campus Circle.

Campus Circle is an alternative newspaper distributed to 500 retail outlets and schools in the greater Los Angeles area. In its 22th year, Campus Circle covers film, music, theatre, events and L.A. culture.

Print editorial in Campus Circle The event was spotlighted in the calendar section of the June 7 issue of Campus Circle. Campus Circle is distributed to 500 plus retail outlets and schools in the Los Angeles area. The value of the listing was $525.00.


Campus Circle - Social Media Campus Circle utilized its own Social Media channels to promote the festival. We disseminated information about the festival through our Facebook and Twitter pages along with various other efforts of outreach. The following pictures recaps some of our approach.
