Campus Note Volume 18

Page 1

Our eighteenth volume begins a fall semester with more unknowns than expected. Now, in a world-wide pandemic, everyone is rethinking what was once simple— the definition of normalcy. Required masks on campus and limited attendance at athletic events are just a few of the necessary actions that must be taken to remain healthy and on campus. Let me remind you that even when the smallest parts of our lives are completely altered, the Savage Storm will still win, we can still have an amazing fall semester, the autumn leaves will still turn. Even though it is hard to see it in this moment, things will get better. The eighteenth volume is much like our past editions. It focuses on SE students who creatively express themselves. It connects the campus to the community with food and events. It provides a sense of pride in being a member of the Savage Storm. The Campus Note believes in providing a sense of normalcy. It's what we have to offer Southeastern students when we are living in a period of change. Stay healthy. Stay happy. We love you, SE.
