AN ELEGANT LEAF DISCOVERING THE BEAUTY OF CANNABIS WITH ANNIE TRAN WHAT ROLE DOES CANNABIS PLAY IN YOUR LIFE? WHAT LED YOU TO START USING THE PLANT? When I reflect on my journey with cannabis, I realize that my relationship with it has developed over the years and is constantly changing. My first experience was in high school—recreationally, of course. At the time, I didn’t know much about it other than that it was something the “cool kids” were doing and something fun to do in my hometown. I enjoyed it the first time I consumed it, but it wasn’t exactly the experience that everyone had described to me. At that time, cannabis was just something I did socially with friends. As I grew older and learned more about the plant, I started realizing how beautiful it really is. I became a medical user in Canada and started my wellness journey. Cannabis was no longer just something fun to do; it had more meaning behind it. It plays so many roles in my life. It helps me harness my creativity; relax when I’m having a stressful day; have a restful sleep at night; and much more. It’s helped me in so many ways. I feel like my purpose in life is to share how beautiful it
