PROPERTY PREPARATION

The first 60 days are the most impactful in a sale, so it’s important to come to market fully prepared, both in due diligence and property presentation.

 LIGHTING – Replace any burned out light bulbs or broken fixtures.

 LANDSCAPING – Be sure to have clean, fresh landscaping around the house, particularly by the front door. We also recommend having color by the front door with fresh flowers.

 PAINTING – This goes a long way! Walk the house and patch any cracks or dents in the walls, including any scuffs on the walls or dated colors.

 STAGING – Review the furniture and discuss staging key rooms with new accessories or furniture.

 PERSONAL ITEMS – This is a great time to get started with the big move by removing any personal items including photos.

Having worked alongside Mike for 30 years, Nancy’s role on the team is overseeing and approving the print marketing materials from start to finish. Nancy enjoys her “behind the scenes” projects and appreciates the spectacular on and off-market properties the team has listed over the years; as she says, “With properties like these, my job is made so much easier!” Married to Mike for 50 years, she admits that fly fishing is now a passion, second to testing new culinary creations, followed by a golf game that “needs work”.
