CAMPAIGN FOR
CANTERBURY It’s Time to Build a Legacy
When Canterbury opened its doors in 1968, a typical classroom space was linear in design–hard desks and chairs lined in neat rows facing a chalkboard at the “front” of the room. Sound familiar? Today, the landscape of education has evolved and so have learning spaces. Technology has not only changed the way information is found, it has changed the way information is learned. WHY INVEST IN THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN? Expanding and renovating our facilities will allow our faculty to continue to inspire our students without the limitation of space and will facilitate research and exploration for our intellectually curious students. WHY INVEST IN THE ENDOWMENT? The power of an endowment is that it exists in perpetuity. The principal investment is not spent but rather carefully managed to yield a reliable stream of earnings. No financial vehicle can match the power and impact of an endowment. Your gift to the endowment will help shape the future for generations of Canterbury students who will have a profound impact on our world.
“It’s time to build upon our existing footprint and create new spaces for today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders. ” Mac Hall, Head of School
WHY INVEST IN THE ANNUAL FUND? The generous support of our community allows Canterbury to provide a more enriched program than tuition dollars alone. All funds raised through the Annual Fund are used to support the operating budget in the same year in which they are given. One of our most significant sources of contributions are from our parent community. Thanks to those contributions, Canterbury students enjoy enhanced opportunities in all areas of student life and learning. WILL YOU HELP US BRING THIS DREAM TO LIFE? Your gift to the Campaign for Canterbury will transform learning for students today and for generations to come. Your legacy will change the way our children engage knowledge and will foster lifelong learners.
Please consider giving a meaningful contribution and join us in building Canterbury’s legacy.
