materials: 1. Tattered Tangle, Little Stripes 12 x 12 Paper 2. Canvas Corp White Cardstock 3. Sharpie (black) 4. Glimmer Glaze ( Hawaiin Hibiscus, Mellow Yellow, Oil Slick, Pink Lady) 5. Glimmer Mist (Key Lime Pie) 6. Alpha Stickers 7. Chipboard Butterflies
tools:
1. Scissors 2. Beacon 3-in-1 Glue 3. Paint Bush
STEPS:
1.
First choose a strip or two as your starting point, fussy cut these and glue them on their places. Then use a pencil to draw some lines (these can be totally freehand!). These lines will be your guide for the area you are going to start zentangling on.
2.
After you have glued the stripes down and have your area defined, start adding patterns and forms you feel like adding. You can also add some shadows and details to the printed images, too! I did.
3.
I used a black Sharpie for this purpose, as I wanted to color the images with Glimmer Glaze afterwards, so I wanted to make sure the black marker color will not “bleed afterwords. For more inspiration, visit blog.canvascorpbrands.com
I chose 3 Glimmer Glaze colors (purple, 4. Next yellow and pink) to color some areas of the background. I just wanted to add a hint of color and therefore kept to light tones.
the Glimmer Glaze was dry, I adhered the photo on 5. After it´s place with 3D foam glue pads.
6.
Next I chose some chipboards butterflies as embellishments and treated them with green Glimmer Mist. I used a paint brush for coloring.
that I just added some glitter glue here and there, 7. After the journaling and the title. I also outlined the layout with the black sharpie 8. Finally and added some black Glimmer Glaze splatters here and there for additional detail.
