DÉCOR & DIY PAINT The perfect creative paint solution The Tattered Angels Family makes room for one of its most exciting additions, Décor & DIY Paint—the perfect paint choice for reusing, repurposing, refinishing, redoing, reclaiming, redecorating or simply

painting great décor and creative projects. Tattered Angels Decor and DIY Paint offers a good quality, high performing paint that appeals to the most flexible range of doit-yourself, decorating and craft painting.

FEATURES Premixed and ready to go, Tattered Angels Decor & DIY Paint requires no sanding, priming or pre-mixing.

Just open, stir and apply directly onto the surface. In addition, no topcoat is required (a wax finish is optional but not necessary).

The durable smooth finish will bring new life to vintage or out-ofdate pieces, or give color to new found objects. One to two coats

are recommended while additional coats will make the finish even more durable. Paints are sold in 8 ounce containers (one cup of Décor & DIY paint will cover approx. 25 sq. ft).

COLORS Decor and DIY Paint is available in 28 fresh, trendy colors. Our palette offers a wide range of colors that work well for any design style from shabby chic, modern, vintage, trendy or eclectic and anywhere in-between.

Our offering of 28 colors can be blended together to create new colors. To lighten any color, add white. Add black to darken. The colors will darken as they dry, so

HOUSEKEEPING NOTES we recommend testing new color combinations and allowing it to dry before proceeding with a final painting project.

PREPARATION One of the key properties of our paint is that it’s pre-mixed and ready to go once you open the jar.

We do recommend that the furniture piece be clean and dry before you begin painting. You can sand a bit before you paint if you wish, just make sure that there is no dust and the space and piece are clean before proceeding. When working with raw wood you will want to sand off any splinters or rough areas before you paint and again make sure the space is clean and dry before you begin. If you find that a surface is a bit more difficult to paint, we suggest you cover the space with a thin coat of the paint and allow it to dry completely, it is ok if the coverage is not perfect, this will allow the next coat to adhere much better.

We talk a lot about old pieces of furniture, frames, but simply painting cast iron figurines or our of date plate chargers can give a whole new looks to everyday items.

Requiring only 1-2 coats, our paint will adhere and cover just about any surface.

Prepare surface before beginning, as paint adheres to any surface.

Paints are permanent, dress appropriately.

Use a foam or bristle brush to apply.

When making a brush choice, we recommend good, quality brushes it will make a difference in the results.

Clean and dry items before painting.

Paints are water-soluable, making clean up with soap and water a breeze.

Place brush in a plastic bag or plastic wrap, even if just setting aside for a few minutes, to keep the paint from drying onto the bristles.

Paint is self-leveling. If you happen to see brush strokes, simply let dry and the paint will self level.

When complete, wipe the rim of paint to ensure paint doesn;t dry.
