He’s back: former PMREMS paramedic returns as COO

Pocono Mountain Regional Emergency Medical Services has proudly announced that its successful completion of a nationwide search for the nonprofit’s new Chief Operating Officer welcomes the return of Austin Schrader of Moscow, effective June 12. Austin brings over 20 years experience in the Emergency Medical Services field, including a short time early in his career with PMREMS as a Paramedic.

During his career, Schrader has held various leadership roles in both ground and helicopter EMS operations, an executive business development role for a national helicopter EMS provider, as well as Director of Clinical Outreach for a local hospital network where he focused on innovative ways for administration to collaborate with EMS providers.
