Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

God used divorce to bring me back to Him. I was raised in a Christian home and knew the truth of God’s word. As a young adult, I followed my will and not God’s which led me into a marriage that was not based on a solid foundation. My first marriage ended in a painful divorce, but this was also the beginning of God using a divorce to bring me back to Him. I committed myself back to Jesus and since then, He has blessed me in more ways than I could ever have imagined.
As a Christian, I believe any marriage can be redeemed and restored, but from experience, I also know our choices can lead us to divorce. God can use any situation for His glory and our redemption. I am living proof of that.
