Hope Groups
Tuesdays at 7PM on campus starting January 28th
Sometimes we need healing and hope in an area of our life where we struggle or are hurting. Hope Groups help people find freedom from things that keep them from fully embracing the abundant life God has for them. Hope Groups meet on Tuesdays nights on campus.
Anxious for Nothing | Oscar & Kasie Saldana

You can stop letting anxiety rule your day. Find true calm and contentment in Christ. Together we’ll learn God’s prescription for worry and how to walk it out.
Biblical Money Management | Ron & Nancy Lerma
Room 204
Engage in hands-on learning to understand how money works and cultivate an abundance-focused mindset. Biblical Money Management is designed to empower you on your financial journey.
Embrace Grace | Jessica Champlin & Tanya Guerrero
Room 203
Embrace Grace provides unwed mothers the tools they need to navigate unexpected pregnancy. They will learn how to create a healthy and loving home for their children.
Embrace Life | Kayte Kinder & Lilah Villegas
Room 202
Embrace Life is a group for single moms of school-aged children that equips them with practical tools to grow in their spiritual walk while navigating the challenges of motherhood.
Fit for Faith | Jayson Thomas & Paul Connell
Room 103
This group is for adults looking to reset their health for the glory of God. Learn how to care for your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Fireside Room
When you attend Freedom in Christ, you will learn to face challenges of condemning thoughts, patterns of wrong behavior, spiritual struggles, hopelessness by using God’s truth to gain spiritual victory and move forward to be the person God has called you to be.

GriefShare | Greg & Tamara Montana
Room 101
GriefShare is for anyone who is wrestling with grief due to the loss of a loved one. You’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief and gain solid support each step of the way.
Marriage Matters | Kenny & Paris Davis
The Gym
This class addresses the key pillars of a Christ-centered marriage. No matter the stage of your relationship, come and receive encouragement and a fresh dose of joy.
Student Hope Groups
Lightbringers | Cheryl Hestley
Fort Faith Room 3 & 4
This class teaches kids who they are in Christ and the importance of living with the light of Jesus Christ inside of them. Your child will learn Scripture and to always shine the light of Christ.
*This class is for students 1st-5th grade
Smart Choices | Karina Wallace & Abby Hargestam
Fort Faith Room 5
Teaches junior high students healthy relationship life skills so they can make smart choices for themselves and their future.
*This group is for 6th-8th grade students
Thrive | Kaleb Amos & Randy Force
Fort Faith Room 6
During high school, it may seem like students are struggling just to survive. This class teaches high school students healthy relationship and life skills so they can thrive through their high school years.

Outreach Teams
At Canyon Hills, compassion is our calling and we’re specifically focused on reaching those far away from God and showing compassion to those in need. Outreach Teams play a vital role in the church’s mission to share the Gospel while serving hurting people. If you’re looking for a place to be an extension of the love of Jesus to those around you, join an Outreach Team!
Seasonal Outreaches
Seasonal outreaches are designed to serve people in need during specific times of the year, such as holidays or seasonal events. These programs often include activities like food drives at Thanksgiving, holiday celebrations, or special county events that help spread the love of Jesus.
Partnership Outreaches
Canyon Hills partners with local organizations, businesses, and non profits such as The Mission at Kern County, Stay Focused Ministries, and CityServe to help hurting people in our community. By leveraging shared goals and strengths, we’re able to have a greater impact as we serve people in need.
Local Outreaches
Local outreaches focus on serving people in our community. These outreaches may include going to an apartment complex, government assisted hotels, convalescent homes and surrounding neighborhoods near our church. These outreaches help build relationships and connection with our neighbors by meeting a specific need.
Discipleship Groups
Thursdays on campus at 7PM starting January 30th
You need to be equipped with the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Discipleship Groups help believers build a solid foundation in their faith by the systematic study of God’s Word. These groups primarily meet on Thursdays and often go through a book or video study.
Men
Men’s Journey
7PM in Room 201
Journey Groups offer the opportunity for men, women and couples to gather, make great friends, and grow in their relationship with God. Everyone meets for worship, a brief devotion, and then breaks out into smaller discussion groups.
Men’s Bible Study
6AM in the Fireside Room
Go deeper in your walk with the Lord by diving into Scripture with other men. Our Thursday morning Men’s Bible Study meets faithfully throughout the year, so men can grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and build strong relationships.
Women
Women’s AM Bible Study: 9:30AM at the Summit
Women’s PM Bible Study: 7PM in the Fireside Room
Dive deeper into the Word and discover the rich knowledge of the Bible. Through small group discussions and personal application, each study will take you on a new journey through God’s Word. Ladies Bible Study will help you grow stronger in your walk with the Lord and develop great relationships with other women.

Connect with Prayer Ministry
The Canyon Hills Prayer Ministry equips people to grow in their prayer life and develop their own initimate connection with the Lord so they can experience God’s restoration power.
Tuesday Morning Prayer
6AM at the Summit
This group meets every Tuesday morning to pray for our church, city, state and nation. We are building a community of people to pray because we believe prayer changes things!
First Wednesday Prayer
7PM in the Sanctuary every first Wednesday
It’s our once-a-month, all-church family prayer gathering. First Wednesday is a powerful service with intimate worship, baptisms, and corporate prayer.

Life Groups
Sundays on campus at 11:15AM
A Life Group gives everyone a chance to know and to be known by others. Life Groups do LIFE together! It’s a place where you can grow in community with other believers and in God’s Word. Life Groups primarily meet on Sunday mornings, but gather for fellowship throughout the week. We have Life Groups for youth, young adults, families, couples, singles and those wanting to go deeper in the Word of God. Life Groups are always open to new members and they can’t wait to meet you.

Encounter Nights
Thursdays at 7PM starting January 30th

Encounter Nights create space to seek God together in an extended time of prayer and worship. They will take place weekly during SZN 1, on Thursday evenings, at 7PM in homes across our city. You will learn new ways to hear God’s voice while embracing genuine fellowship with one another.
