Achieving More with Less: The Lean Approach to Delivering Public Service. Overview The need to take unnecessary waste out of public services has never been greater. Whilst public sector revenues are set to fall, the deficit reduction has to be set against an increasing demand for greater efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services. This 1-day course explores the essence of ‘lean thinking’, focusing on eliminating all redundant activities.
