Diploma in Professional Administration Overview Experienced administrators can take pressure off their managers by leading a team of administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the business. This course enables them to delegate, oversee their team and be the first point of contact when there is a problem.
Who is it for? Experienced secretaries, PAs and administrators who have a responsibility for others in the organisation. This programme is not designed for newly appointed administrators – please refer to the Certificate in Professional Administration (see page 42) as an alternative route for development.

To complete the accreditation process, a work-based project is required. The certification process can be for the whole award or on a modular basis. If the introductory diploma in management from CMI has already been completed, then exemption will be given for the completed / certificated components.
