Postgraduate Diploma in Employment Law Overview The Postgraduate Diploma follows directly on from the Postgraduate Certificate and enables participants to build on practical experience with academic knowledge and achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
Who is it for? Anyone who has already achieved the Postgraduate Certificate in Employment Law and would like to gain a further qualification in employment law practice.

Method of study: There will be an intense and interactive 2-day introduction to the four modules to be studied. In addition there will be two seminars concentrating on the research methods and preparation of assignments. This will be followed by open learning in a highly structured and directed fashion to allow you to fit your studies around your current work role. The diploma will require 3-4 hours of independent study per week. Attendance at The PEEL Club is a perfect complement to the diploma as it allows a ‘community’ dimension to discuss related aspects and share best practice. Assessment Assessment will be based on 4 assignments to be handed in during the 9-month programme. There are two substantive assignments that account for 20 CATS points each, and two secondary modules that carry 10CATS points each.
