Project Leadership Development Programme Overview Effective project management is crucial for the success of transformational change and business development initiatives in every organisation. At the heart of the project lies the Project Manager who is tasked with delivering the project in line with stakeholder expectations using efficient processes and engaging both those working on the project and those affected by the expected outcome. This highly practical programme will provide a combination of knowledge in technical project management process and terminology together with the skills and attributes required to lead and work effectively with others.

This complete project leadership programme is ideally suited to Project Managers who are seeking to consolidate their skills and personal attributes as leaders and obtain a full grounding in project management technique, process and skills and want to attain a recognised professional qualification.
What you will learn: The programme covers the core objectives of the following courses: Project Management Tools and Techniques Project Management People Skills Project Leadership Review Day Programme Format Our innovative staged approach to deliver the programme will allow attendees to work on an individual work-based project log and will culminate in progress towards attainment of the endorsed ILM Certificate in Project Management Skills. *Stage 1 – Project Management Tools & Techniques (see page 57) *Stage 2 – Project Management People Skills (see page 58)
Stage 3 – Work-based leadership of a significant project and completion of a project log (minimum 5 days). In choosing your project, the criteria for completion should include: At least 5 days of personal time At least 4 weeks duration Requiring the co-operation of at least 5 other staff members in your organisation The work-based project will need to demonstrate anindividual participant’s personal approach or behaviour as the leader within their assigned project team. *Stage 4 – Attendance at the Project Leadership Review Day (see page 55) On successful completion of all stages of the Programme, participants will receive a Certificate in Project Leadership endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
