It’s been a year and a half; now’s the time to bring in the NEW – new brows, new nails, new hair! Read on for tips, techniques and some glam step by steps to get you in the mood.
For Katie Godfrey of KG Professional it’s the season to make up for lost time. “We had nothing to get glammed up for last year, so this year we’re seeing a lot more clients come into the salon for brow lamination. I think more people are willing to try this new treatment because it makes a huge difference to their brows and how they frame the face. With different techniques and new treatment formulas cutting down time in the chair, plus adding tint into the mix; if it’s thicker, healthierlooking brows they’re after, this brow look is definitely for them. 26
“We’ve also noticed a lot of clients converting to lash lifts for a lower maintenance look, but who wouldn’t want to go that extra glam mile and have lash extensions in time for the festive period? Russian volume lashes will be huge this year, and for time-poor clients, pre-made lashes are super popular, as they can be done in half the time. The great thing about Russian volume and pre-mades, is that we can go long and thick for instant party season vibes,” says Katie.
