How far in advance can I make an Available Points reservation?
Booking your vacation through Capital Vacations® is simple. You can make an Available Points reservation in any season up to 13 months in advance based on your Loyalty Program level.
All reservations are subject to availability, Available Points requirements and Loyalty Program level, so plan ahead to secure the resort accommodations and the vacation time you desire.
Is there a minimum night-stay requirement?
Most resorts require a two-night minimum stay except holidays, which require a threenight minimum stay. Some resorts do require a full-week minimum stay with check-in on a specific day. Travel flexibility is offered for our loyalty tier members under the Capital Flex Travel program.

What is the cancellation policy?
To cancel or modify your vacation plans, please review our Cancellation Policy:
91-365 Days: 100% Points Refund
61-90 Days: 75% Points Refund
31-60 Days: 50% Points Refund
0-30 Days: 0% Points Refund
Prepare for the unexpected just in case! When booking a reservation, we strongly recommend utilizing the Available Points Protection Plan, which keeps your points safe in the event that you need to cancel your vacation. If you choose to purchase the CPPP, you may cancel up to 30 days prior to your arrival and receive a refund of 100% of your Available Points used for your reservation.
Available Points Protection Plan cost:
Preferred: $150 per Reservation
Silver: $146 per Reservation
Gold: $141 per Reservation
Platinum: $135 per Reservation
When are my Available Points added to my account?
Once you are current with your fees, that year’s use points are automatically allocated into your Member account. You may also pay your Maintenance Fees ahead of time to receive a future Use Year’s allocation of points.
How are my reservations confirmed?
When your reservation is confirmed, either by phone or online, you will receive a confirmation number. If you reserved a vacation online, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address on file within minutes of completing the reservation. Reservations booked by calling Vacation Concierge Specialist will receive a printed confirmation email or letter in the mail 7 to 10 business days after your call. For details about the resort, including virtual tours, photos, floor plans and resort layouts, as well as driving directions and area attractions, visit CapitalVacationsClub.com. Reminder: Your Maintenance Fees, Club Dues, and Facility Fees must be current to make and use a reservation.

Banking Available Points & How to Determine Banking Deadlines
Banking your Available Points helps ensure that unused Available Points are not lost if you are unable to take a vacation that year. Banking Points allows you to leave Available Points in your account until next year when maybe in a better position to take a vacation.
• You may save up to 100% of your Available Points by banking them from your current Use Year into the following Use Year.
• Banked Available Points must be used during the following Use Year.
• You must bank your Available Points before the end of your banking deadline based on your Loyalty Program Level. See page 254 to review Preferred banking deadlines. See page 258 for Silver, Gold and Platinum banking deadlines.
Guidelines for Vacations through Global Exchange
Capital Vacations Owners may exchange their Club Points through Global Exchange. This network grants each Owner the ability to exchange Club Points into the largest exchange network with the ultimate flexibility. Exchanged Club Points can be used in the Global Exchange for a 7-night vacation around the world.
Global Exchange is available for all Capital Vacations Owners. The best part is that you still just make one call to a Capital Vacations Owner Services to make a reservation.

Are we required to pay a Cleaning Fee for each reservation made?
Members are required to pay Cleaning Fees on each reservation they make. However, each member is entitled to one (1) cleaning fee for each 75,000 points owned. Cleaning rates vary by property housekeeping policy and must be paid for when the reservation is booked.
