PROPERTY MARKET RAMPS UP April is always an interesting month to navigate. With Easter´s public holidays, ANZAC Day and school holidays, there are plenty of opportunities for people to escape the everyday on short or long vacations, which can slow property market activity. That doesn´t mean we haven´t been busy achieving incredible results for our clients, however! In recent weeks we´ve managed sales campaigns that saw three offers submitted within 3 days on one-property, whilst another home was sold swiftly, after languishing on the market for several months with a different agency. We pride ourselves on achieving top results for our clients, and May looks like it´s ramping up to the next level. Booking for auctions in May are filling fast, with almost two-dozen auction spots locked and
loaded. We´re noticing pent up buyer demand in certain areas, and our team is working hard on bringing a large selection of new properties to market in early May, with May and June traditionally being solid selling period. Now that we´re almost one-third through the year, it´s becoming clear that the market is evolving is an encouraging way. REIWA data is increasingly positive, with the latest stats showing that property prices across the board are stabilising, and in some key suburbs they´re beginning to grow. Our agents are reporting renewed confidence in the market from buyers and sellers alike, and 2018 looks set to be a promising year.
