SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands - The Department of Environment and Natural Resorces (DENR) through the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) and the Municipal Government of Loreto and Tubajon in the province of Dinagat Islands have agreed to jointly manage the 2,820.99 hectare-Sambunotan Watershed ending an old political feud and saved the mountain landmark from environmental deterioration. “It was a wise decision for both local leaders to agree in partnership with each other with the DENR –PENRO in their midst in the management of the Sambunotan Watershed to save and protect its natural resources,” said DENR 13 Regional Executive Director Atty.
