RTWPB CARAGA CONDUCTS WEBINAR ON WORK ETHICS FOR PRODUCTIVE WORKERS
The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga recently conducted a discussion on Work Ethics of a Productive Worker to Northern Mindanao Colleges, Inc. in Cabadbaran City. A total of 295 participants consisting of students, employees and staff joined the webinar. The webinar was also available online via Facebook live through the RTWPB Caraga Facebook Page. According to Board Secretary VI Earl dela Victoria, the Work Ethics of a Productive Worker is a training program that aims to equip participants especially who are looking for jobs to have work ethics enabling them to become productive worker. It is an advocacy strategy deployed in support of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) wage subsidy programs, JobStart Philippines, Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), DOLE Youth Camp and Nurses for Occupational Health and Safety Program (NOSH) for the newly-graduated nurses. During the event, Dela Victoria discussed the module on Work Ethics of a Productive Worker. He elaborated that this module will guide and teach them to know the work values that employers look, identify ways on how to demonstrate productive work values to increase productivity at work and know the basic steps on how to blend into a company culture. During the webinar, the importance of having knowledge about benefits and services offered by Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) was also highlighted by Sandee Angeli Mocorro, Information Officer of ECC-Regional Extension Unit 13.
