Morgan County Economic Development Association Mission: The mission of the workforce development efforts through MCEDA is to meet the goal of having an educational and training system that continually prepares the local workforce for the job skills needed now in the future to meet existing industries’ needs and attract additional industries to Morgan County. Approximately 2,000 high school students are reached each year. o

Wage Survey: Annually, MCEDA produces a wage survey for the benefit of area industry. This allows local employers to access their wage structure compared to the local marketplace. Every three years a benefits analysis is conducted. o

Who Qualifies for these Services or Funds? Any industry in Morgan County can send employees to participate. The classes are filled on a first‐come first‐serve basis.
Demographic and Market Research: MCEDA provides workforce related demographic information to area employers when requested, free of charge. o

AIDT Leadership Training: Twice a year, MCEDA hosts and teaches AIDT’s Leadership I class (see AIDT services for complete description of course). o
