He accredits his energy on stage to his athletic school days. Asa’s career as a solo artist started in 2000 with his debut single "Jahcrew Making Another Track." In 2010, his popularity grew in the French Antilles, Dutch St. Maarten and Dominica after he decided to quit his day job to do music full-time. He debuted on the World Creole Music Festival Stage in 2012 and has been a staple artist ever since.
