But aside from the typical losses expected in the business, livestock producers have been hit lately with unusually high losses due to wolf predation in the Cariboo Chilcotin. “We are talking about significant economic losses -- hundreds of animals,” says Duncan Barnett, President of the Cariboo Cattlemen’s Association.
