Xat’Sull Heritage Village hosted it’s first cultural event of the 2012 season last Thursday complete with lunch, performances, tours, workshops, and arts and crafts. The village is located right along the Fraser River, just 35 km north of Williams Lake and is complete with covered picnic area, teepees, sweat house, and an atmosphere where you can learn about other cultures. Last Thursday, the village had visitors all the way from England as a rugby team who was passing through Williams Lake on their tour of Canada stopped by to enjoy the village. The Xat’Sull Heritage Village is available for tours, and overnight stays from May to October and those interested in setting up a tour or stay can contact the village at 250-297-6502.
