Tucked within a bend in the White River, Hazel Landing Park has it all: a waterway, woodlands, prairies, picnic areas, and even an 18-hole disc golf course. This park is the perfect example of bringing nature and recreation together. BOY SCOUT SWIMMING BOY SCOUT SWIM TEST PREPARATION

Designed for the experienced swimmer seeking to refine and advance their stroke technique. Swimmers will enhance their efficiency and technique in the freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, and will begin to develop the butterfly stroke.

Does your Boy Scout need to pass a swim test before he can go on an exciting scouting adventure this summer? In these lessons, an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor will teach scouts the specific swimming techniques they will need to demonstrate for the test and help them work on the endurance they will need. Scouts will also learn water safety skills which will help them become safer swimmers and benefit them in future water-based merit badge classes. At the end of the class, instructors will administer the BSA Swimmer Test.

This is achieved by identifying and removing barriers in order to serve individual and community needs, as well as to provide quality programs and services accessible to all; such as our many recreational, leisure, and education-based programs, volunteer opportunities, and interactive public events. CCPR is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act through making reasonable modifications as required by the ADA. Requests for modifications must be made through one of CCPR’s Inclusion Supervisors within 30 days of the start of the program of interest. CCPR will provide reasonable modifications as soon as possible after the commencement of the modification process. Specific criteria will be found on registration documentation. In addition, CCPR is dedicated to nondiscrimination in the provision of programs, services, and activities to the public. CCPR will continue to incorporate all consumer feedback, current research, and practice knowledge in order to continue meeting and exceeding customer/community satisfaction and to protect and promote access for all for generations to come.
