Campers will develop a diverse skill set and a passion for exploration and growth as we think outside the box this summer. Adventures in Art Let’s go on an art adventure! Together we’ll explore the world of art in a hands-on setting. Science of Summer Science is all around us and it is COOL! Campers will have a blast exploring the scientific method in a hands-on setting. We’ll conduct experiments, watch demonstrations, and make take home projects that reinforce the week’s focus. Our experiments tend to get a little messy, so campers should wear experiment-ready clothes that can get messy!

Move to Improve Do you have an interest in sports but have little experience out on the court and field? Do you want to work more on the fundamentals of the game(s)? Then this is the camp for you! We’ll dribble, throw, swing and run our way through different sports each week! You can look forward to basketball, football, soccer, and more! Move to Improve will challenge you each week in a setting designed to help you reach your goals. The coaches are ready, and the field is set. Success on Stage– Acting

All of you dedicated actors and actresses out there, this camp is for you! Success on Stage – Acting is split into two, four-week sessions. The first four weeks will be a Broadway Jr musical, and the second half of summer we’ll be doing a comic play. Act, sing, dance, and shine, knowing that each and every role on the stage is the best one to get! Auditions are the first day of each camp session, no exceptions. Please note that campers will need to attend each camp day, as well as learn their lines and dance moves both at camp and at home. SAVE THE DATE: Performance of Shrek Jr will take place on Thurs, June 23 at 1pm, and Rumpelstiltskin, Private Eye performance will take place on Thurs, July 28 at 1pm.

Success on Stage– Stage Design

If you love behind the scenes projects, this is where you need to spend your summer. You’ll be part of the stage crew that designs, creates, and implements all the magic that goes on around the actors in their big production. Using cardboard, duct tape, fabric, and fairy dust, be part of the team that sews the costumes, builds the set, draws the backdrop, and creates the world on the stage. If you attend the week of the play, you will also help with makeup, as well as setting up and moving the props during the show. Outdoor Explorers It’s time to unplug. We’re headed outdoors to explore! Grab your sunscreen, walking shoes, and sun visors, and join us on an outdoor adventure. During each camp day, we will hike an average of one-to-two miles (with breaks) on various hiking trails and learn about the natural world around us. So, if you don’t mind getting dirty and LOVE the outdoors, this is the camp for you!

I.M.P.A.C.T.

Are you a young adult seeking responsibility? Do you want to serve as a positive role model? The I.M.P.A.C.T. program teaches essential life skills in a job-like setting. You will participate in weekly training sessions or activities that focus on the six program elements: Initiative, Motivation, Professionalism, Achievement, Compassion, and Teamwork. Interested individuals will interview to become a member of I.M.P.A.C.T. If selected, you will be assigned to one of the following day camps: STEAM Team, The Summer Experience, Under the Sun, EnRoute, Science of Summer, Adventures in Art, Camp Wayback, or Move to Improve.
