Artists Juan Renteria, Romeo Guzman and Christopher Anthony Velasco were asked to dive into the El Monte/South El Monte community and make original works of art inspired by public spaces such as parks, swap meets, streets, sidewalks, historical landmarks, gardens and vacant lots. Their projects ask us to rethink how we all experience, relate to, and understand space.
