OPTICAL FIBRE CABLES PRE-WIRED OPTICAL CABLES Pre-wired cables, in laboratory, are the fastest and most economical way to create optical fibre connections with simple installation that can even be performed by non specialised personnel. Available with multi-mode and mono-mode cables, both dielectric and steel armoured. They are equipped with the complete termination of the two heads with optical connectors, 40 diameter heat-welded corrugated tube to protect the connected powermeter tested fibre (OTDR upon request). O ptical cables MTP solution for high density networks The MTP plug and play system is the perfect solution for modern data center O.F. installations. This system was designed to allow an O.F. network to be installed and deployed in the shortest time possible without the need of special tools or highly qualified personnel. RACKS INDOOR/OUTDOOR IP55 SERIES FLOOR RACKS The IP55 series racks were designed for rack applications in environments subject to weather variations. The IP code identifies the rack protection grade against external elements. There are two main categories: indoor housing and outdoor housing. There are 3 sub-categories for each main category: base version rack, rack version with forced ventilation and rack with air conditioner.
RACKS MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS • Frame: frame, bracket, base and depth profiles are made of press-bend steel plate; • Panelling: rack side and rear panels, made of press-bent sheet metal, are mounted on the structure with screws only accessible from the rack interior. IP protection is guaranteed by a EPDM rubber gasket; • Bottom: the rack bottom is made of press-bent sheet metal. IP protection is guaranteed by a closed cell Neoprene sponge gasket. O.F. TOOLS OTDR OTDR is a reader used to analyse and find optical fibre faults. It can be used to test cables before installation. Analysis lets the user assess the optical fibre length and attenuation, including any events such as junctions, pairing, connections, point defects and introduced attenuation. A fibre break can be identified and its distance from the analysis point estimated. Multi-mode, mono-mode and dual window test tools are available (various models).
