Intro
Christmas 2018 here in Exeter is going to be bigger, better and brighter than ever before. InExeter are really excited about moving the light switch on to Sunday 18 November for a full day of fantastic festive activities that the whole family can enjoy together. Over the festive season there will be so much on offer including the unmissable Christmas Market situated on Cathedral Green, a superb show of Christmas illuminations and events scheduled from both independent and high street retailers.
This is our first city publication for Christmas, bringing together partners from across Exeter to give you a comprehensive guide to the best events, the most fabulous shopping and delicious dining options this Christmas. Thanks to Exeter Cathedral, Visit Exeter, Princesshay Shopping Centre and Guildhall Shopping & Dining for their collaboration on this project. And finally, the usual late-night Thursday shopping events starting Thursday 22 November are not to be missed and give you the perfect opportunity to pick up Christmas gifts for friends and family while enjoying all that Exeter has to offer.
This year will be the most festive year yet for the city and we're delighted to celebrate it with you. We are grateful to our event partners for supporting this event: Sponsor Crealy Adventure Park & Resort, travel partner Stagecoach and media host Radio Exe.
We hope you enjoy a festive Christmas in Exeter.
