EVS workshop and its global dimenssion were a part of this event
80 young leders got to know about EVS! The conference dealt with non formal education - how it influences the development of young people competences and how it can be used by them later on on a labour market. EVS workshop and its global dimenssion were a part of this event. The conference meetings with company HR department workers were organized, ps ych o lo gis t, yo u th wo rk er s an d practicioners. There were lectures and workshops about benefits comming from non- formal education and about certain possibilities which Youth in Action programme offers to young people. Results: 80 young leders (from local communities, especially young councillors) from the whole region got to
know about EVS, youth exchanges and youth initiatives. How the volunteering with global dimenssion was promoted? A worshop under this top took place 3 times - so that each participant could take part in it. It was run by Semper Avanti EVS hosting coordinator - Agata Nassim with the support of EVS volunteer. The workshop was held in English which made it a bit challenging for the participants. How the participation of young people was promoted? The event was very much focused on promotion of young people participation and was promoting non- formal education as a way to develop skills for life with a special focus on work. Visibility and dissemination: The event was promoted among 25 youth councils in the region - by private e-mails

and facebook (Semper Avanti website is under construction). It was promoted also
PLACE: Wroclaw DATE: 29-30.08.2013 NUMBER OF PAX: 80 FOR WHOM: youth leaders from the region among chosen municipality offices cooperating with the organization. All the 'recivers' of the information got it with an information about co-funding comming from Youth in Action programme. Participants of the event took part in workshops promoting activities directly offered by the Programme.
