Lauren & Kyle at Beyond Organic Growers
Music has the power to connect moments and to bring people together. That’s exactly what happened in Lauren and Kyle’s case. Following the popular music festival Bamboozle, the two spent every weekend together that summer and started officially Lauren & Kyledating right before Lauren left for her sophomore fall semester. “We were inseparable,” Lauren shared. The couple had been together for almost seven years, and along the BEYOND ORGANIC GROWERS, way, Lauren even teased Kyle about proposing. They were celebrating their first FREEHOLD, NJ Christmas together in their apartment, and Kyle had wrapped an empty jewelry box, 10.24.2020 which Lauren thought was a joke. Before she knew it, Kyle was down on one knee Photography by proposing with a halo-style, emerald-cut engagement ring. Heyn Photography

All-Natural Atmosphere: Beyond Organic Growers wasn’t the couple’s first venue choice, but when Lauren and Kyle realized they would have to postpone the big reception they originally imagined, they decided to move forward with an intimate celebration. They knew they wanted a location that was covered but still outside for a natural and organic feel. As soon as Lauren visited Beyond Organic Growers, she fell in love. “The way the herbs and greenery engulf the greenhouse is beautiful, and it needed almost no decorating because of the natural beauty. The staff was very accommodating and made great recommendations,” Lauren raved.
Find Your Seat: The couple chose to forgo traditional tented escort cards. Instead, they printed out guests’ seating assignments–arranged by table number and framed in gold frames–creating a modern seating chart display. They even personalized it by adding a photo from their engagement session in one of the frames!
Simple Decor: Natural tones of white and green filled the venue’s greenhouse. “We did not want to take away from the beauty of the venue and kept a natural vibe,” the bride mentioned. They adorned guest tables with scattered eucalyptus and added gold accents through table numbers and charger plates.
Let Love Grow: In keeping with the organic vibe of their wedding aesthetic, Lauren and Kyle sent guests home with miniature potted succulent plants as a thank you for sharing their wedding day with them. The favors were collectively displayed on a table with a sign that read, “Take one and watch love grow.”
