Music has the power to connect moments and to bring people together. That’s exactly what happened in Lauren and Kyle’s case. Following the popular music festival Bamboozle, the two spent every weekend together that summer and started officially dating right before Lauren left for her sophomore fall semester. “We were inseparable,” Lauren shared. The couple had been together for almost seven years, and along the way, Lauren even teased Kyle about proposing. They were celebrating their first Christmas together in their apartment, and Kyle had wrapped an empty jewelry box, which Lauren thought was a joke. Before she knew it, Kyle was down on one knee proposing with a halo-style, emerald-cut engagement ring.
