Our Core Services Program & Project Management Project management is about leadership. To Cumming, this means more than just administering a project – it means actively motivating and managing teams to generate results for our clients. The earlier a client engages us as their project manager, the more value we can offer. Cumming develops a sound management strategy at the outset. We explore and submit viable alternatives for project delivery, assist you in understanding your options, and propose the most efficient methods for implementing your plan. Each project or program is executed with superb precision and a keen eye toward budget, quality, and schedule.
Cost Management & Estimating Clients need to know the total cost of their project as early as possible in the development process. As the project progresses, you want to make sure your project is developing within budget, and that you are getting the best value for your investment. Cumming’s cost management group – one of the largest provider of cost estimating and management services in the United States – fills this need. As your trusted cost advisor employing the latest in aggressive time and cost
management methods, we ensure that any decisions you make are made with a complete understanding of the impact those decisions will have on both the short-term and long-term cost of the project. Additionally, Cumming provides fiscal discipline and problem-solving support through all phases of your project to ensure delivery within budget.
Dispute Resolution & Avoidance Unfortunately, disputes can and do arise during construction. Some can be neutralized if caught early, while others are more complex and require an extended commitment of problem-solving resources. In any case, our team of claims analysts, schedulers, and litigation specialists provide the careful analysis and expert guidance needed to handle disputes quickly, quietly, and with as little impact on the project as possible. Having been in the business for many years, our staff – most of whom have also been owners, designers, or builders in key construction sectors – know what to look for and how to achieve positive results on our clients’ behalf. If litigation becomes necessary, our seasoned testifiers are available to serve as your expert witness.
