Q. Can you give any advice or tips on writing a book?
A. You may find this funny, but the best advice I can give when you’re in the process of writing a book is be well nourished and be well rested. Make sure you’re away from distractions, find settings that are conducive to writing and inspire you. Personally, when I hit a writer’s block I start listening to rain and thunder sounds on my phone to get me back into the writing groove.
Q. This is a new year what are some of your goals for 2021?
A. As the Brain said on Pinky and the Brain, the same goal I have every year; try and take over the world. Haha… well, at least, take over the book world by becoming the number 1 best-selling author of all times.
Q. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
A. That I can be inspired by anything and everything. I get an idea for a book, and I just delve right into studying and writing.
Q. Tell us about “The Beasts and The 4
Demigods” and the reviews you received from that book?
A. I had to pull my first book back due to some editing issues and ended up spending money on editor after editor, until I met Emily Gleeson, the best editor in the entire universe. Upon republishing, I have received reviews comparing my book to the Percy Jackson series and the Harry Potter series. The reviews while still only a few are amazing. Most of the reviews have compared me to author JK Rowling or expressed how much they loved my books. As of recent, I have received a review published by The Los Angeles Tribune, saying that The Beasts & the 4 Demigods is “the next fantasy epic that will dominate the literary world.” And, referring to me being “the next JK Rowling”. I am beyond humbled and ecstatic all at the same time.
