Q. Thanks for interviewing with us tell everyone who you are and where you’re from?

A. What’s up! Thanks for having me! Da Inphamus

Amadeuz radio DJ on Shade 45 | SiriusXM, also host of “The Inphamus Hour” FM show where we interview and highlight legends of the past.

Many know me from being featured on National

Geographic or my time as a video director as well.

Q. What made you want to be a DJ?

A. Honestly being a DJ was never a goal of mine, it was just the way the dominos fell. I originally went to SiriusXM as a film and content creator until there was an opportunity to learn this new exciting trade which is a corner stone of the Hip Hop culture

“Dj’n”. I took the time to learn and perfect the craft and here we are.

Q. What differentiate you from the rest of the DJ?

A. Every DJ has his “trademark” sound, mines is transitioning from one song to the next. Every song blends into the next record. It was something I did by accident and became the mark of my particular sound.

Q. Who would you consider to be a DJ Legend?

A. DJ Kool Herc obviously, without him there would be no us. But, Roc Raider comes to mind. The way he

Reinvented the way DJ’s use the turn tables was amazing.

Q. What are some mistakes you see in a lot of upcoming DJ’s?

A. Playing for themselves instead of the crowd. It’s a critical mistake as a DJ. Also not being in tune with the general history of music can severely hurt your catalog and arsenal. Music is a timeless artform and your DJ set should reflect that.

Q. What are one of your greatest memories being on Shade 45?

A. The first time I realized how much playing music can change or help the course of someone’s day. Everyone’s story and timeline are different, but music has a way of putting you in a better space. So many times I would get messages from people who may not have been in the greatest of spaces in that moment but the records I was playing on air helped them forget about whatever they were going through at that moment and just focus on the music. Simply amazing.

Q. What is one fun fact about yourself?

A. My mother’s water broke on the 86th floor of tower 2 in the World Trade Center.

Q. Are you working on any new projects right now?

A. Yes right now I have my new project as an artist “Any Day Now (The Sequel)”. The project combines ‘Lo-Fi” with an authentic New York

Sound. Of course, you can hear me weekly on

Shade 45 Thursdays 3p EST as well as watch

“The Inphamus Hour” live via Boom Bap Nation on Facebook Thursday’s at 9p EST. We provide a dope experience by bringing celebrities to

Facebook weekly and letting the fans interact with them live on social media.

Q. What advice can you give others that want to be into radio and being a DJ?

A. Perfect speaking while mixing on air. Take advantage of online & social media radio opportunities to perfect all aspects of being a

DJ. Remember it’s not only about playing music; you have to be able to communicate and control the audience with your speech as well.
