Q. Thank you for interviewing with us. Tell everyone who Peter is?
A. My name is Peter Cestaro, and I am a 17-year-old Singer, Actor, Model from East Haven, Connecticut. I have an incredibly big passion for music and love to perform for people. My favorite music to perform is Pop and R&B. I play the piano and I’m learning guitar. One of my biggest shows were at the Queens Youth Music Festival at City Field.
Q. What or Who inspired you to be a singer?
A. I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I have been on stage with many huge people in the industry, and always knew, that is what I wanted to do.
Q. Tell us about “The Next Big Thing NYC”?
A. The Next Big thing NYC is a New Reality show with A cast of talented teenagers filled with talent, Drama, and so much more. You get to see behind the scenes reality of what it’s like for industry kids. The Show Goes deep into everyone’s unique talents and takes you on the road to stardom.
Q. If you can go anywhere in the world where would you go?
A. There are so many places I want to go, but right now, if it has to be one choice, I would like to tour Italy and learn a little bit about my family history.
Q. Tell us about your singles “Cyber Love” and “Cup Full of Jenny” Which one is your favorite?
A. Cyber love is not released yet. I have to release “what you want” first. (I have a team of people, that are all involved in my timing and release process) -my manager Gaby Acevedo, engineers and a few different writers. The people on my team have worked with so many famous people in the music industry. I love the vibe of “cup full of Jenny” it has a great beat, with great lyrics.
Q. What is the biggest challenge you had in this industry?
A. My biggest challenge I am facing in the industry is getting my name out there. Nonstop self-promoting is the key and I have been grinding at it for almost 10 years.
Q. What is your favorite Genre in music and favorite artist?
A. My favorite genres in music is between R&B and hip hop. If I had to choose one, I would definitely choose R&B. My favorite artist would be Drake, he is lyrically versatile, and I admire that. I have been on stage with Drake at two different concerts and have watch him firsthand how he interacts with his fans is definitely something I’ve always looked up to.
Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments?
A. Some of my accomplishments that I am proud of are-consistently making high honors at school, being able to perform in front of thousands of people, winning first place in numerous talent shows for my music. Landing acting roles on major tv networks, (blacklist-ABC, lifetime and many more)
Q. What projects are you working on?
A. I am currently filming for the next big thing And I am really focusing on my music. Today I am creating a story board for my music video I will be filming in Miami.
