Q. It is an honor to interview you tell everyone who Jordan aka “chefjojo” is?

A. I’m just a kid who loves to bake.

Q. What made you want to be a chef?

A. My great Grandfather was a head chef at Disney and my dad, and all of his uncles are incredible cooks...it’s something the men in our family are good at!!

Q. What is your favorite dish or dessert that you love making?

A. Now I LOVE baking chewy lemon tarts, or Blueberry Lemon glaze scones...I’m really good at these two things and people LOVE THEM!!

Q. I see that your goal is to win “Food Network Kids Baking Championship” that’s amazing what made you want to be in that?

A. They approached my mom last year and ever since then I’ve had one goal and that is to be the best, I can be so I can someday have the opportunity to win that show!!!

Q. Who is your favorite chef?

A. @preppykitchen chef John Kanells

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

A. I see myself getting better, and better at baking, and having a line of sprinkles in retailers nationwide!

Q. What are some of your other hobbies?

A. Boxing, Reading, Baking, and I’m the King of Quarantine Fun!

Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments?

A. Just getting better and making food that is delicious and beautiful! I’m always trying to learn and grow and I’m really proud when I do!

Q. Tell us about a challenge you had being a chef?

A. I sometimes have trouble getting my cakes to stand up perfectly and layered cakes are really difficult to transport. I’ve even had cakes fall over after a long drive.

Q. What the hardest dish or dessert you have tried to make?

A. French macaroons are the hardest thing I’ve ever had to make. They are so difficult...you have to have everything at the perfect temperature, mixing has to be done in perfect timing and everything...

Q. What are some things you working on and where can everyone follow you?

A. I’ve been working on different kind of dough right now for crescents, pizza, and breads... you can follow me at @ youngchefjojo.
