Q. It is a pleasure to interview with you please tell the audience who Yamisha is?

A. To the world they see me as this beautiful successful teen that has beaten all the odds and turned every no into a yes, I can! Doctors and teachers said I would not be able to accomplish a lot of things in life. When I look in the mirror, I see an even more beautiful person on the inside who is grounded, focused and full of zest for life, joyful teen.

Q. Who are the people who have been your number one supporters?

A. My mom has been my biggest champion, my entire life I have watched her put her own wants and needs aside just for me to succeed. I am grateful to her for all that she has done for my brothers and myself.

Q. What is your normal due to Covid-19?

A. The only thing normal due to Covid-19 has been staying inside. My mom and I are introverts, we can stay inside for months.

Q. What do you do with your spare time?

A. In my spare time before Covid-19 I travel the globe with my mom. Just like all teenagers I enjoy, watching movies, snapchat, TikTok, playing PlayStation with my brothers and watching Star Wars with my dad.

Q. Tell us about the experience you have creating your online business through Amazon?

A. Selling on Amazon has made me reevaluate the value of money and look at it as blessings. After my mom and dad divorced; we were not able to have the simple luxuries in life. I wore one pair of shoes the entire school year. I have learned how to be my own BOSS and run my own business, making sure my store is stocked and satisfy the customer’s needs and wants.

Q. Sorry to hear about graduation but also congrats on finishing. Tell us a little about your high school experiences being an autistic senior?

A. Being an autistic senior at Mill Creek High School looks the same as every other senior. We are treated equally. I have friends who have learning challenges like myself as well as I have friends that are in regular classrooms settings. School is my social life, I come alive in school. I enjoy laughing and doing silly things with my friends.

Q. What are some of the great opportunities and challenges you’ve had in life?

A. Some of my greatest opportunities include buying my own house, car and going to the Maldives and staying in the over water bungalows and diving into the ocean from the living room. My greatest challenges used to be reading, for a long time I had trouble learning to read. My mind could not retain the information. I could not recite the ABC’s until around the age of seven. Writing sentences was a major challenge that I overcame. Another challenge that I am working on overcoming is public speaking. I still struggle with social anxiety. My mom is a public speaker and she encourages me to present on stage with her.

Q. Share one fun fact about Yamisha?

A. I have a love of dance and love to laugh. I also love making others laugh.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

A. I see myself graduating college with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship and becoming a multi-millionaire.

Q. What projects are you working on now and where can everyone follow you?

A. Currently, I am on vacation visiting my dad. I am still working as items in my store are selling fast and I must make sure the store is stocked. Due to Covid-19 we cannot seem to keep inventory in stock which is great thing. I am working on getting scholarships as I will be attending University of North Georgia in the fall.
