Q. Hello Dekori, hope all is well can you tell everyone who you are and where you from?

A. My name is Dekori Robinson, I’m 18 yrs old and am a graduate of class of 2020. I’m from Marietta GA.

Q. How do you balance all your endeavors?

A. I balance all my things by taking everything day by day and using the time I have to do things to the fullest.

Q. What is your new normal due to Covid-19?

A. Well, as a senior, I wasn’t able to officially have a ceremony or go to prom, so now my new norm is to go to work, the days I’m scheduled with protection and then come home and participate in quarantine. I also work on my company.

Q. Tell us about “Defiant Ones” and the experience you had being the Co-Founder?

A. Defiant Ones Teen Magazine is a teen and young adult magazine that features not only the hottest teens, but it also highlights teens who have their own businesses. We talk about bullying, sex trafficking, money management. health and wellness of teens and other things. Being a cofounder has been an amazing experience though it can be stressful at times, it’s all worth it. Me and my brother started the magazine to highlight things teens and young adults are doing and go through. We wanted to motivate other teens who are questioning their limits and have had doubt placed upon them by others. It’s been an honor to have been featured on over 365 major media outlets including CBS, FOX and ABC doing a story on us! We had the pleasure of having teen celebrities on all the covers of our Magazines from Disney Stars, America’s got Talent, and Superstars from the Rap Game!

Q. I see you working on your fashion line tell us more about the style your fashion line will have?

A. The style of the clothing line I’m working on is best described as retro, it will be something that is eye catching and anyone can look good in.

Q. Share one fun fact about yourself?

A. 1 fun fact about me is I can hold my breath for almost 3 minutes.

Q. What is your favorite Movie or T.V. Show?

A. My favorite movie as of right now would have to Watchmen. It’s a great movie and it really just makes you think.

Q. You were on the show “Drop Dead Diva” when you were younger what experience did you have being on that show?

A. I don’t remember too much about the specifics but I do remember it was a great experience it consisted of working with great people on the daily and I remember I had my own trailer that I would stay in on set and filming was fun because in between each break, I would get to get candy! One great thing is because it was a national Television show, I get royalty checks and have been receiving them since I was 7. I’ve also appeared in other films and national commercials.
