HELLO HELLO FV KIWI’S!! My name is Cayla Nguyen, your next 2017-2018 Treasurer and I’m an upcoming junior at FVHS! I first joined KIWIN’S my freshmen year and at first I was SUPER shy and didn’t really start getting involved with the club until the beginning of my sophomore year. But ever since, I have grown to LOVE this club because of the service and people! I’ve met soo many people that I call my family and I know that if you just out yourself out there, you’ll see how KIWIN’S can grow to be your family too. Outside of KIWIN’s, I’m the Designer-in-Chief for Baron Banner where I design our school newspaper because I LOVE LOVE LOVE to do web design and I also love to paint! Some fun facts about myself are that I love Netflix, I love to bake, and I collect really random things because I make stuff out of them LOL. But anywaysss I really hope to meet all of you guys over the course of the next term so don’t be afraid to approach me at events or anything because I want to get to know each and everyone of you!

fountain valley vivian thong, committees chair
Summer. Fall/Winter. Spring. Long ago the three committees did not exist. Then, everything changed when Andy Nguyen became the first ever Fountain Valley committee chair. This amazing position has been passed down from generation to generation and finally, this year, it has been bestowed upon me. Hi I’m Vivian Thong and I’m over the top excited to be serving as your 2017-2018 Committee Chair. A little about myself hmmm...I’m currently a junior so next year is my last year with this wonderful club [sad emoji]. I’m not very athletic so I’m not in any sport but I play the violin in orchestra and I go to Vietnamese scouts on Sundays. When I’m not volunteering with my favorite club (that’s you guys!!!), you can find me binge watching kdramas and Harry Potter, sleeping, or watching videos of turtles eating strawberries. As you can tell, I have no life. I’m a lonely turtle so please message me!!! Even if it’s to share memes!!!
cindy cao, publicist
I’m Cindy Cao, your 2017-2018 pubLITcist/PUNlicist!! I’m in 11th grade and am also a Girl Scout. I love corgis, playing tennis, unicorns, nutella, Jojo, and graphic design. But the two things I love the most are memes and KIWIN’S. That’s why my goal for this term is to use our social media to spice KIWIN’S up!! So for every event page, be on the look out for not only aesthetic banners, but memes as well. My other goal is to increase member inclusion by using our Instagram to post more pictures of service events/socials and to continue our newly implemented Hall of Fame. I will also be updating our Snapchat at all events so be on the look out for my vlogs ;) If you ever need anything or just someone to talk to, feel free to hit me up on Snapchat (@cookiecindy54), Messenger, or in real life! I honestly love talking to members and I stay up until 3 AM every day so it gets pretty lonely :// I have a lot of new changes in store for you guys and I can’t wait for an amazing year full of service, fun, and memes with my fellow manatees <3
elise ngo, technology chair
hoLA!! me llamo elise, and I’ll be your tech chair for the 17-18 term! I’m a sophomore, and I like to play basketball, eat, sleep, design, edit, draw, etc. If you ever need help on your homework then you probably shouldn’t ask me because I wouldn’t know, but if you ever need to know the ideal height for you to drop your buttered toast from if you want it to land butter side up I gotchu! It’s 8 feet. A little fun fact that you probably never needed to know about me is that I can flip my eyelids! If you ever want to talk to me or ask me any questions, don’t be afraid to! I hope I’ll be able to meet and talk to all of you this term and I’m excited to be serving as your tech chair!

appointed board sarah nguyen, historian
Heyyo! It’s your 2017-2018 historian coming at you! I’m honestly super excited for the upcoming working with all you lovely people. Some fun facts about me, I play for our school’s volleyball team in FSG, I have a youtube channel, and I like to bullet journal a lot. I’m currently a 9th grader going into 10th which makes the youngest on board (yay me :^)) For this term, my main goals are making a lot of new friends and get y’all involved in our ohana. Maybe persuade you into joining committee, board, or even divisional board. I can’t wait for the upcoming term to start <3
jason tran, activities chair
Hi my name Jason Tran! I like to bake, cook, dance, party, and get lit at KIWIN’S events! My goal for this term is to make friends with every member here and get all of you to come to every one of our socials this year!! I’m an upcoming junior here and I get lit at events! My favorite movie right now would be beauty and the beast. My favorite foods are fried chicken, ice cream, and tiramisu. I hope to become friends with all of you this term!!
sarah nguyen, spirit chair
BARONS ARE YOU READY READY? for me to be your new Kiwin’s Spirit Chair of the ‘17-’18 term?!?? I’m super excited to serve you and get all of you hype hype hyped and spirited!! So some of you may not know who I am...well i’m Sarah Nguyen aka Sarawr xD I’m currently a sophomore and upcoming junior!! I’ve been in cross country/track and still am apart of the orchestra at our school! During my free time I usually binge watch, look at MEMES, make puns & cheers and most importantly VOLUNTEER!! For this term, it’s my goal to get to know every single one of you kiwis MEMEbers and get you passionate about volunteering! I want to be able to create catchy and fun cheers for our club, ensuring that they are easier to learn and memorize! By doing so, we’ll be more unified while cheering, making us unstoppable as we take home that SPIRIT STICK!!!! ALSO, make sure to be involved!! There are many ways of getting involved in Kiwin’s other than just being a general member! For example, there are the Club board positions, Divisional, and District positions!! Divisional and District positions are similar to Club positions however they focus on more than just our school. Also, if you want to start off small there are committee board positions where you’ll have the responsibility of a club board member for a season. It’s great experience for applying for any board position as you learn the work load and how to manage your time well! I 110% recommend that all of you apply for committee as I was able to learn leadership and time management skills during my term in Spring Committee!! I hope you’ll all be shouting cheers nonstop and most importantly HAVING THE TIME OF YOUR LIVES BC THIS TERM WILL BE MORE LIT THAN OUR FIRE CHEERS
