3. Motives for becoming entrepreneur/intrapreneur Key findings: 1. Nearly half of the interviewees stated that their main motive for opening a company is that it seems like a good career opportunity. 25 % are motivated in opening or having a company by the opportunity to put innovative ideas into practice. From 111 respondents on the question about their main motive for opening or having a company, 48 of them or 47% from the total number of survey participants stated that the main reason behind their motivation for opening or having a company is the opportunity for a good career. 26 of them or 25% from the survey participants stated that they are mainly motivated by the opportunity to put innovation into practice, while a fair number of participants (17) or 16 % are mostly driven by the idea to become their own bosses. Small number of the survey participants (only 10%) wants to accumulate capital or become rich.
